Never risk a lot to save a little. If you have more than one car, consider insuring them together with on carrier to "stack" the coverage. This allows you to greatly increase coverage for a small endorsement. Review your home and auto insurance at the same time to see if there is a financial benefit to insuring them with the same carrier.
